Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide a take-home teeth whitening kit?
Yes! We are pleased to offer our Austin, TX, area patients with take-home whitening kits.
How often can I whiten my teeth?
You can whiten your teeth as often as you’d like, but you should remember that whitening can temporarily make your teeth sensitive to hot and cold. If you whiten too much, your teeth may actually take on a bluish tinge.
Will whitening products work on my crowns?
No. Whitening products only work on your natural teeth and do not whiten dental restorations such as crowns and fillings.
Why shouldn’t I just buy a less expensive over-the-counter whitening product?
Over-the counter products don’t work nearly as well as professional whitening. For one thing, the whitening agents used in OTC products are not as strong, and OTC products don’t come with the custom-made trays that we create for each of our patients.

What to Know about Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening system includes a strong and effective teeth whitening solution. We provide each of our patients with custom-made trays, which are much more effective in equally distributing the whitening agent on the patient’s teeth. As is the case with all whitening products, may make your teeth more sensitive to hot and cold foods and drinks, but that sensitivity usually only lasts a short period of time.
